Cooperative Projects of Illinois Library Systems:
Special Project Coordinator's Projects
End of Year Clean-Up
It's been a while since the last update, but rest assured that many exciting projects have been taking place. One of the most exciting is preparing for the 2008 ILA Annual Conference. Be sure to check out our programs, "How to Get the Most Out of Your System!" and "Meet the ALA President, Jim Rettig." We'll also have many table talks and poster sessions, so be sure to check is out!.
End of Year Clean-Up
It's the end of year once again. Well, the fiscal year, anyway. That means that you can expect lots of new things to be popping up on this site! One of the things to watch for will include new FY2007 statistics. Be on the look out for new formatting for this yearly round of information.
We also have a few projects in the works for the Annual Meeting for Illinois Library Association. Be sure to check out The Second Annual Diversity Fair! If you are interested in participating in this event, you can register here. As always, you can contact me, Amanda McKay, for more information at amandamckay@lcls.org. Meet the Special Project Coordinator
Amanda McKay came to Illinois Library Systems
in the Spring of 2005. Her main responsibilities include Web
maintenance, marketing, and coordinating special projects.
Some of the projects she has worked on include activities in
support of the 40th Anniversary of Illinois Library Systems
and a statewide survey of librarians called Shaping Priorities for
the Future of Library Systems.
She has an MA in English from Eastern Illinois University and
an MS in Library and Information Science from the University
of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
